About BiT
BiT began in 2012 and established its Singapore company in 2015. Today our team of 200+ people brings together language technology, digital content, social platforms, and business software. Building and operating our own platforms gives us practical experience in audience engagement, content delivery, and the systems behind digital services. We bring that experience to projects for organizations too.

Our journey
Bagan Innovation Technology (BiT) is a Myanmar-focused technology company developing consumer apps, digital content platforms, language technology, and business solutions. We build and operate our own digital products alongside delivering software for organizations. Our work helps people communicate, discover content, connect with others, access services, and take part in digital commerce.
Myanmar language processing is a central part of our expertise. Bagan Keyboard, Myanmar’s largest local app, serves over 14 million monthly active users. Frozen Keyboard reaches over 2 million monthly active users with a simple Myanmar language typing experience. Through Bi Miner, we also apply Myanmar language processing to the interpretation of online conversations. Bi Miner has been granted access by Facebook to its public data API, a capability available to a select group of approved organizations. Understanding the language is part of understanding the user.
Our consumer portfolio includes Wun Zinn, Myanmar’s largest e-book store, working with over 1,700 authors and offering more than 25,000 titles. Wun Zinn won Best App in Asia at Telenor’s Digital Winners 2015, recognizing its contribution to education, access to learning, and usability. Read the award announcement.
Our portfolio also includes WZ Comics for comics and webtoons, Shwe Nar Sin for audio content, and the consultation platform Min Thein Kha. Min Thein Kha is Myanmar’s largest fortune-telling platform, connecting users with more than 30 fortune tellers. It carries the name and legacy of Sayagyi Min Thein Kha, celebrated as the most famous astrologer in Myanmar history, and works with his immediate family.
TheVibe extends this portfolio into social interaction and content sharing. Bringing together feeds, short videos, profiles, and chat, it reflects our experience developing both the user experience and the supporting systems for media delivery, content monitoring, and platform administration.
For businesses, Tharapa supports social commerce by connecting product listings, customer conversations, and sales operations. Bi Miner helps organizations monitor online mentions, assess sentiment, explore topics, and follow competitor activity. Alongside our own platforms, we develop mobile applications, websites, and business software, including the UNESCO Myanmar Youth Platform, with maintenance and new feature development extending through 2027.
